How it works

 

We’ll start with a free discovery call to understand your goals, where you are now and to discuss how we’ll work together. After we agree to work together, we’ll then schedule a kick off call to help me understand more about you and your organisation and inform the structure of our strategy sessions.

In the first strategy session, we’ll review your goals to create realistic and measurable objectives that focus on the outcomes you want to achieve. We'll identify your target audiences. We'll break this down into priority groups and discuss what motivates them, potential barriers to communications, and who influences them.

 

With this complete picture, I'll then start developing a strategic approach, which will set out the most effective ways to speak to your audience and the messages and channels to influence them. This will consider the best tactics digital and social media, PR and media, marketing, engaging influencers and partners, and your internal communications. I'll recommend how to get the most out of your resources and establish priorities and timeframes for delivery. The strategy will also set out easy-to-measure metrics to track your results and benchmark against peers.

 

In the second strategy session, we’ll review the proposed strategic approach and discuss the best way to progress with its recommendations. This is a practical session to ensure the final strategy is tailored to you and your way of working. It will help me develop an action plan for you to put the plan into place. I'll share personalised tips and information on useful tools or resources that you can use in the future too.

Pricing

I’m transparent about my pricing for not-for-profits. I understand how you need to consider whether someone is in your budget range.

Our standard day rate ranges for not-for-profits are:

  • Org income under £250k: £300-£450

  • Org income £250k-£1m: £350-£550

  • Org income over £1m-£10m: £450-£650

  • Org income over £10m: £750+

I operate this pricing scale as it enables me to work with more smaller organisations. It also means I can deliver annual pro-bono projects.
